FSD Kenya has been working since 2005 to promote financial inclusion in Kenya. Kenya has made huge strides during this time with over 75% of the population having access to a formal account. But are formal financial services delivering value to income Kenyans?
In this mini-documentary FSD Kenya’s Head of Research, Dr. Amrik Heyer; FSD’s Communications Manager, Joyce Omondi Waihiga; and researchers Susan Johnson and Silvia Storchi from the University of Bath visit respondents in Kitui, Eastern Kenya and draw out Kenyans’ perspectives on the value of financial services.
