Every year since 2015, FSD Kenya has held a public annual lecture focusing on current and emerging financial sector issues.
Ms. Sanda Ojiambo, who serves as the Assistant Secretary-General and CEO of the United Nations Global Compact, will deliver the 8th FSD Kenya annual lecture on Thursday the 27th of October 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00pm East Africa Time.
The FSD Kenya’s 2021 7th Annual Lecture focused on Digitalisation and emerging economic development models in Africa: The role of fintech.
On the afternoon of Thursday, November 19th, 2020, Researcher Julie Zollmann defied the COVID-imposed absence of a live audience to deliver FSD Kenya’s 2020 Public annual lecture on inclusive finance, via YouTube from the University of Nairobi’s Chandaria Auditorium.
This year’s lecture titled “Financing Kenya: 2020 hindsight for Vision 2030” was delivered by Dr. David Ferrand. David is a long-time observer of the Kenyan financial sector. He played a key role in FSD Kenya’s inception nearly 20 years ago and served as its director until June 2019.
