FSD Kenya held the 8th FSD Kenya annual lecture on Thursday, the 27th of October 2022, from 4:00pm – 6:00 pm East Africa Time (EAT)

Since 2015, FSD Kenya has held annual lectures focusing on current and emerging financial sector issues. The aim of these lectures is to provide thought leadership and stimulate debate on financial sector development topics.

Sanda Ojiambo, who serves as the Assistant Secretary-General and CEO of the United Nations Global Compact, was the speaker at this year’s lecture. She shared her reflections on the  topic: ‘The role of sustainable finance in strengthening the private sector in Africa.’

Assistant Secretary-General Sanda’s keynote was then be followed by a dynamic panel discussion. Panellists at this year’s annual lecture are Eva Warigia  (CEO, East Africa Venture Capital Association), Dr. Habil Olaka (CEO, Kenya Bankers Association), and  Samir Ibrahim  (CEO, SunCulture).
