SUMMARY
How do poor Kenyans manage their money? This executive summary synthesizes the key findings of the 2012-13 Kenya Financial Diaires project that looked very closely at the ways in which low-income Kenyans earned, spent, saved, borrowed and invested over the course of a year. The data from the project paint a rich picture of the financial lives of poor Kenyans and shed new light on their unmet financial needs.
