This data pack contains several files (in .csv and .dta formats) with information collected about households and household members participating in the 2012-2013 Kenya Financial Diaries study. Data captured during interviews are available on housing characteristics, ownership of assets, demographics, educational attainment, well-being, goings-on and consumption from own production.
In addition, several auxiliary datasets with custom indicators on income, expenditure, remittances and poverty created by the FSD Kenya team are available in the data pack as well.
The description of these files and the variables they contain can be found in the Kenya Financial Diaries datasets user guide, available here. The main cash flows dataset from the Kenya Financial Diaries is available here.
