Here are the highlights of the 2021 FSD Kenya annual lecture.

For the past seven years, FSD Kenya has been hosting its annual lecture that continues to contribute to Kenya’s inclusive financial system and support its long-term development goals.

Working closely with the Government, financial service industry, donors, and other partners, the lecturers share groundbreaking research, innovations, and debate platforms through which notable speakers share candid stellar expert information.

This year, the 2021 virtual annual lecture focused on “Digitalisation and emerging economic development models in Africa: The role of fintech”.

Renowned Professor Bitange Ndemo delivered the main lecture.

The vibrant panel discussion was also delivered by:
– Anne Mutahi, Senior Advisor to the President of Kenya on
SME Development
– Julius Court, Deputy British High Commissioner to Kenya
and Development Director of the British High Commission
– Professor Bitange Ndemo, Professor of entrepreneurship at
the University of Nairobi and former Permanent Secretary of
Kenya’s Ministry of Information and Communication
– Wawira Njiru, Founder and Executive Director, Food for Education.
