The objective of this award ceremony is to encourage prudence and stability in the banking sector by recognizing, awarding and celebrating exemplary performance in the sector. The main focus on this year’s award ceremony was on what banks can do to enhance financial access to a larger majority of the populations.

David Ferrand, Director of FSD Kenya, gave the key note speech during the award ceremony that saw Equity Bank named the best bank in Kenya after winning nine out of the 25 awards on offer.
