Launch of the 2024 FinAccess household survey topline findings report

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), in collaboration with Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSD Kenya) and Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) launched the 2024 FinAccess household survey topline findings report in an event held on Tuesday, 3rd December 2024.
Data collection for the 2024 FinAccess household survey was conducted between July 2024 and October 2024.
The FinAccess surveys provide valuable information on the financial inclusion journey and its dynamics. The 2024 FinAccess survey was unique in several ways. It provides a time-series analysis of the changes in financial inclusion at the county level for the first time, which is essential to inform the effectiveness of policies at the county level.
The survey also covered more ground on the measurement of financial literacy, consumer protection and green finance. This is in addition to enhancing measures for other dimensions of financial inclusion, beyond the traditional access.
