WE Finance Code Kenya Chapter invites you to the awareness workshop for the introduction of the WE Finance Code Kenya Chapter, a pivotal event to accelerate women’s financial access for the Women Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (WMSMEs) in Kenya.
This workshop, organised by the WE Finance Code Kenya Working Group, is a critical step toward the official launch of the WE Finance Code Kenya Chapter in October 2025.
The WE Finance Code is a global initiative by the World Bank to drive systemic reforms through leadership, data interpretation and taking action for women’s access to finance. This workshop aims to:

The WE Finance Code promotes leadership accountability, gender-disaggregated data, inclusive solution design, and policy reform to unlock this potential. Morning Session: Opening remarks, keynote addresses, demonstration and showcasing global examples of the WE Finance Code implementation and a panel discussion on localising the WE Finance Code
Afternoon Session: A panel on leveraging gender-disaggregated CRB data, interactive breakout sessions on data, policy, product innovation, and collaborations, followed by a call to action.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with leaders from financial institutions, government, development partners, and women’s business associations.
