Karen is currently Chief Advisor, Economics and Development at WWF-UK. Previously she was Programme Leader of the Business and Development programme at Overseas Development Institute (ODI) where she focused on the role of business in promoting growth, development, and poverty reduction in developing countries. Karen Ellis has over twelve years’ experience in policy and research, having previously worked at the UK Governments Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and HM Treasury, and in economic consultancy. Karen Ellis holds a Masters Degree in International Economics from the University of Essex, UK.
