Mugwe is an accomplished expert in green finance, renewable energy, and carbon asset development, with over 15 years of experience in founding and scaling enterprises.Mugwe began his career at Goldman Sachs International in London in Private Wealth Management (PWM). Previously, he held the role of Special Advisor on Power and Climate in the Vice President’s Office at The Rockefeller Foundation, Africa Regional Office, where he played a pivotal role in shaping power and climate-related policies and initiatives.He also serves as an independent board member at ICEA Lion Insurance Group and is a former board member of VisionFund Kenya, the microfinance arm of World Vision.Mugwe's leadership is demonstrated through his founding role at Olsuswa Energy Limited, a private greenfield geothermal company in Kenya, which achieved recognition among the top 50 firms in the Future Shapers ELITE network at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in 2020, highlighting his ability to drive business success.
