Launch of National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) 2025-28, The Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTPIV) for the Financial Services Sector, and signing of the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code

The National Treasury and Economic Planning and the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) launched the Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) for the Financial Services Sector, the Kenya National Financial Inclusion Strategy (2025–2028) and the Women Entrepreneurs (WE) Finance Code Kenya Chapter on Thursday, 4th December 2025 in Nairobi.
The launch signaled a fresh push to deepen access to financial services, strengthen consumer protection, and embed financial inclusion at the heart of national growth plans.
