Webinar: The Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (the WE Finance Code): Unlocking finance for women entrepreneurs

The WE Finance Code WG. Kenya Chapter, led by the Argidius Foundation and FSD Kenya, held an insightful webinar introducing the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code Kenya Chapter, an initiative dedicated to increasing financial access for women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (WMSMEs) in Kenya.
This session brought together financial sector stakeholders, policymakers, and development partners to discuss how the WE Finance Code can drive systemic change by enhancing access to finance for women entrepreneurs.
The webinar featured:
- A keynote address on the critical role of data in addressing the financial needs of WMSMEs.
- A panel discussion with representatives from FSD Kenya, Kenya Bankers Association, and other key stakeholders, sharing insights on the Code’s principles and its relevance to financial inclusion and Kenya’s economic growth.
The webinar served as a prelude to the main Awareness Workshop which is designed to spark excitement and provide foundational knowledge about the WE Finance Code.
