Oscar joins us from the National Treasury where he headed the team mandated to establish the Nairobi International Financial Centre (NIFC). He is a UK qualified lawyer with 25 years’ international experience in financial services, policy and regulation. After studying and qualifying as a lawyer in London, Oscar worked in the banking and insurance sectors before joining the General Counsel’s Division at the Financial Services Authority. Following that he spent 9 years supporting the development of the financial sector in Qatar, before moving to Kenya at the end of 2017 to lead the establishment of the NIFC.
