3rd FSD Kenya Public annual lecture 2017 - John Kay

SUMMARY

Over 250 policymakers, industry players, regulators, lecturers, students, financial sector analysts, development practitioners and other guests gathered at the National Museum’s Louis Leakey Auditorium on Thursday 9th February 2017 for the 3rd FSD Kenya annual lecture on financial inclusion.

This year’s lecture titled “Other people’s money: making finance serve the needs of the economy,” was delivered by John Kay, one of Britain’s leading economists, contributor to the Financial Times and author of the critically acclaimed book, Other People’s Money.

Kay’s lecture was followed by remarks from the Chief Guest, Dr. Patrick Njoroge, Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya.
