FSD Kenya and BFA webinar on the impact of COVID-19 on low-income Kenyans

June 13th, 2020

FSD Kenya and BFA Global held a webinar on the economic and social impact of COVID-19 on low-income households in Kenya on the afternoon of Thursday, June 11th, 2020.

The webinar focused on key findings from an ongoing qualitative research conducted through phone interviews by the two organisations. The respondents of the study are individuals and households that participated in the Kenya Financial Diaries, a previous project that FSD Kenya and BFA Global implement in partnership.

During the webinar, researchers Julie Zollmann, Cate Wanjala, and Anne Gachoka presented the key findings from the study, while FSD Kenya’s CEO, Tamara Cook facilitated the question and answer session. The blogs and case studies are available on this link.

As the second wave of the study gets underway, the latest news and insights from this work can be found by following @FSDKe and @BFAGlobal on Twitter, as well as the hashtag #Covid19DiariesKenya.
