Francis works as a senior financial sector policy specialist at FSD Kenya. His work revolved around working with financial sector policymakers and regulators to build and strengthen the policy and regulatory framework in Kenya. This transcends initiatives on credit markets, digital economy, payments systems, long-term policy and women economic empowerment. Through his work, he has had the exorbitant privilege to contribute to some of the major policy initiatives in Kenya’s financial sector over the last 9 years. His work is underpinned by research and generating the evidence base to support policy actions. His main interests are in consumer protection and competition policy, law and enforcement.
